Hurts everytime I buy a leather belt...it hurt when I got my 2 inch leather strap Fossil watch.
Now I've found a neat workaround. I just take up the product I am about to buy and tell myself "That cow was already dead...for its meat, the skin would have been discarded if not for me buying it as a watch or a belt"
It consoles me a bit...

but you did kill the cow that was used to make the next watch that somebody bought. If you hadnt bought the watch that you did, that somebody would have bought the watch that you now bought instead of getting another cow killed.
(I am just thupping for the sake of thupping, now that you've said "spit... it... out..." :-) )
but...the cow was already dead!
Its like the crackers you get from Sivakasi --children being employed.
If you and I are not gonna buy, and if the whole educated crowd decides not to buy, then they would start employing adults.
So who knows, when people quit eating meat, when people quit wearing leather, why would someone want to kill an animal?
(Ok but i do undersatnd we are all veg+eat+arians not veg+wear+ians)
nice breakout of the terminology vids ;)
my story had 2 cows. The first one was already dead and you are wearing it now :p
The second cow, you just killed when the company decided they needed to make one more watch to replace your watch's place in the showroom :p
So according to garuda puraanam, adutha jenmathula you is the cow only :p
but...the cow was already dead...and i am just wearing its skin...
